When we started to plan our wedding, I knew I had to ask Gen to help me with the flowers. Friends since I can remember, I have had the privilege to see Gen’s knowledge of flowers grow (excuse the pun!) into an incredible florist with a fantastic ability to turn my Pinterest images/I like those little ones you know, into a beautiful reality.

Looking back now, I remember telling her: please can I have natural, purples, blues, not too stiff, lots of little delicate touches oh and here’s the money! After talking through some ideas I knew she totally understood what I wanted.

On the day, she did so much; the flower girls hair pieces, my hair piece, bridesmaids bouquets, the table scapes, the main table runner for the ceremony. However, the piece that made me want to cry was my bouquet. It was as though she had delved into my ideas and put them altogether in the most beautiful way.

The most special part for me about the flowers, was that at the end of the day each couple/table could take a little bunch home in the hand made vases with gorgeous memories of the day. Flowers are such an integral part of your day and yet unless you are a florist, you know the least about. However, I promise Gen will turn all those ideas/images into reality. She’s calm, kind, helpful and most importantly she listens to your ideas and will help you have the best day of your lives. We could not recommend her enough.
